Have just been past the green and here as you can see is an engineer fitting the lights to the christmas tree ready for todays big switch on!

Many of the local shops and businesses in the Pokesdown area have teamed up and are planning all sorts of local events. Here is the first one,

Snow in Pokesdown!

Popped into the Tattoo Parlour for lunch today and amongst the customers was none other than Channel 4 news presenter Jon Snow, we believe his trip to Pokesdown today was because he is working on a documentary on local housing issues.

He certainly looked as if he enjoyed his all day breakfast though and spent a lot of the time talking to staff and customers!
